Table lamp VATICANA

Production year: 1988

VATICANA Table lamp VATICANA is a table lamp with a dimmer switch and a Pergacel lampshade. In comparison with the vast number of halogen lamps that are being designed at the moment, an incandescent light bulb system was chosen for use in this model. The design comes in two main parts: a support structure in the form of an inverted and slanted cone, manufactured in moulded aluminium, and a lampshade produced in a translucent material to provide warm background lighting. The dimmer switch is integrated into the column that serves as the support for the lamp. As with everything about this design, the system used to secure the shade to the lamp is very simple. All that is required, is to fit the Pergacel into the groove in the support column and position the two small components that hold it in place. No wires or metal structures are necessary as it is the ribbing of the material itself, thanks to the split made in the shade to give it its conical shape, that shapes the body of the lampshade. The VATICANA lamp is finished in a two-layer graphite grey metallic finish and the electrical equipment complies with international quality and safety standards.
