Perfume bottle WILLIAMS

Production year: 1998

WILLIAMS Perfume bottle designed by Josep LLuscà. When designing a packaging, it is important to bear in mind the fact that this should transmit the characteristics of the product contained in the packaging. In the case of perfumery, the message that is transmitted has an important seductive component, capable of evoking imagery and symbolism, and more precisely, aesthetics. WILLIAMS is an aftershave aimed at athletic, dynamic and modern men who like to take care of their appearance. It is precisely these characteristics that the bottle intends to transmit through using transparent glass, which enables the colour of the contents to be clearly seen. Its shape, in the form of a hipflask with grooves on the sides, prevents the bottle from slipping out of wet hands. The plastic cap is metallic silver grey in colour and enhances the appearance of the product, making it an item that is used dynamically, frequently and conveniently. Another important factor in the design of the WILLIAMS packaging is that the product is retailed without a box, for which reason it was decided to maximise the facing to advertise the brand name and product on the shelf in points of sale. The bottle?s design, through its materials, volumes and colour, responds to those of a daily-use masculine fragrance, but which at the same time has all the pretensions of a more sophisticated perfume.
